Progressive and growing environmental engineering and consulting firm is seeking an engineer/scientist for our New York City office, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience in the NYC five boroughs with the application of :
* Phase I Environmental Site Assessments,
* Phase II Investigations,
* NYC Dept of Environmental Conservation Spill Assessment & Closure Activities.
* Knowledge & understanding of NY and NYC environmental regulations
* Experience in Brownfields and/or remedial design a plus, but not required.
Candidate must:
• Possess either an Engineer-In-Training or a Professional Geologist certification.
• Exhibit proficiency in completing relevant projects from proposal phase to project close out with minimal supervision from senior staff.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;
• Demonstrate ability to follow direction and work in a team environment;
• Possess excellent communication and organization skills;
• Be able to multi-task;
• Possess excellent writing skills (examples of writing must be submitted for review).
